Yemeni state television: Decision made to liberate Sanaa

Yemeni state television reported on Monday, citing Yemeni Deputy Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Samir Al-Subayyi, that the decision to liberate the capital, Sanaa, “has been made and the matter is settled,” affirming that the army is advancing on multiple fronts and will not halt until achieving a “decisive victory.” In field developments, Yemeni government forces announced the execution of wide-ranging operations on several fronts, which they said resulted in the recovery of positions and the foiling of infiltration attempts by the Houthi group. Government forces reported the destruction of three Houthi convoys in the Al-Barah axis west of Taiz, using drones, coinciding with the outbreak of fierce clashes involving various types of weapons in the same axis. In Marib, the Yemeni army announced targeting a Houthi armored military vehicle, confirming a direct hit on the target. Joint forces also engaged in fierce confrontations with the Houthis at the strategic Shrajah point, which connects the road between the western coastal directorates and the city of Taiz.
