Interior Ministry: Capsizes vehicles of three suspects who endangered road users

The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, arrested three suspects for engaging in reckless and dangerous driving maneuvers that endangered their own lives and the lives of other road users. The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the arrests followed the monitoring of a video recording documenting the incident and the necessary investigations, which led to identifying the suspects’ identities, taking legal action against them, and referring them to the Central Prison. It added that the vehicles used in the incident were impounded in accordance with a court order for their confiscation in favor of the Ministry of Interior, under Article 33 bis of the Traffic Law. The ministry warned that acts of recklessness and endangerment would not go unpunished, and that anyone who jeopardizes the lives of road users would face the prescribed legal measures.
