Bahraini Crown Prince: Strengthening Joint Gulf Cooperation and Firm Ties

Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed yesterday (Sunday) that the deep-rooted ties and shared aspirations uniting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states form a solid foundation for building upon the achievements attained in the joint GCC process and advancing cooperation tracks to higher levels across various fields, thereby realizing the visions and aspirations of the GCC leaders. This statement came during a meeting between the Bahraini Crown Prince at the Riffa Palace with the heads of delegations participating in the 12th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Health, including Bahraini Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al Awadi. The meeting was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is presiding over the 46th session of the GCC Council.

During the meeting, the heads of delegations conveyed greetings from the leaders of the GCC member states to the King of Bahrain and the Bahraini Crown Prince. Sheikh Salman bin Hamad also conveyed the greetings of the Bahraini King and his own greetings to the leaders of the GCC member states.

Sheikh Salman bin Hamifa emphasized Bahrain’s continuous commitment, under the leadership of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to supporting various initiatives and directions that contribute to realizing the shared aspirations of the GCC states toward greater cooperation and integration on all levels. He expressed his wishes for the success of the meeting and its contribution to further enhancing coordination and joint cooperation to continue developing the health systems and the quality of competence in health systems and services across GCC member states, with benefits that will positively impact everyone. He highlighted the importance of implementing the directives issued by the GCC leaders concerning the health sector, which contribute to improving the quality of health services and strengthening Gulf medical readiness, thereby enabling the GCC states and their citizens to achieve further progress and prosperity.

For their part, the heads of delegations participating in the 12th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Health expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his keen interest and support for joint GCC efforts, particularly in the health sector, and his commitment to developing the health system, enhancing its readiness, and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
