Kuwait condemns statements by ministers of the occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and rejection of statements made by two ministers in the Israeli occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, given that such remarks constitute a blatant violation of the inalienable rights of the brotherly Palestinian people and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the brotherly Palestinian people and called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities in countering any efforts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It stressed that such proposals undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among which is the comprehensive plan by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza, which included a categorical rejection of forced displacement. It warned of the serious repercussions of such developments on the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region.

The Ministry also affirmed that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories, emphasizing the necessity of preserving the unity of Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It further reiterated the State of Kuwait’s firm and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the brotherly Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state with its capital in East Jerusalem, within the June 4, 1967 borders.
