120 athletes representing the country at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya

The Kuwait Olympic Committee announced the country’s participation in the Asian Games, which will be held from September 19 to October 4 in Nagoya, Japan. The event will feature more than 15,000 athletes representing 45 countries competing in 68 sports. The Committee noted that Kuwait will be represented by 120 athletes competing in 16 of the sports included in the Games. These sports include football, handball, shooting, athletics, golf, fencing, modern pentathlon, sport climbing, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, squash, equestrian, karate, sailing, padel, and swimming. Participating national teams are currently continuing their preparations through training camps and friendly matches, both in individual and team sports.
