Yousef Al-Koot Participates in NASEEJ and VELORA Projects at the International Property Awards

Yousef Al-Koot for General Trading and Contracting (YK Group) continues its presence at specialized international forums in architecture and real estate development, participating this year with two Kuwaiti projects in the International Property Awards 2026–2027, within the Arab region competition, with results to be announced next September. The company is participating with the VEILORA project in the Architecture Single Residence and Residential Property categories, while the NASEEJ Residences project competes in the Architecture Multiple Residence and Residential Development 20+ Units categories. This participation reflects the company’s diverse expertise, ranging from private residence design to the development of multi-unit residential communities.
Yousef Al-Koot, the company’s CEO, stated: “Our participation in international competitions is not solely aimed at winning awards; rather, it is about subjecting our work to global standards and engaging in genuine competition. We always want to know where we stand and how we can improve, so we can present Kuwaiti designs capable of competing anywhere in the world.” He added: “Our ambitions extend beyond the success of a single project or company; we believe that advancements in architecture and design reflect our country’s image and the quality of our environment. We strive for Kuwait to have a presence on the global design map commensurate with its capabilities.”
This participation follows YK Group’s previous involvement in the International Property Awards and its experiences in regional and international competitions, as part of a strategy based on continuous learning, raising design and execution standards, and benchmarking local projects against global best practices. The company anticipates the competition results in September, with the possibility that outstanding projects may advance to higher levels of competition, according to the award’s stages and classifications, ultimately reaching international awards.
