Qatar: We have documented the launch of Iranian missiles on civilian areas and the resulting damage

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, confirmed that Qatar has documented the launch of Iranian missiles targeting civilian areas and the resulting damage and injuries. Al-Ansari added on his official X account today: “Qatar is not a party to the conflict, and attacks on its territory and civilian infrastructure cannot be justified.” He continued: “Iran’s actions constitute a clear violation of international law, and no quotation or interpretation will alter this reality.” He clarified: “The success of our forces in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones does not absolve their launchers of responsibility.” He noted that Qatar will continue its diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and enhancing regional security.
