A heinous crime committed against a Kuwaiti family

Several years ago, a heinous crime was committed against a Kuwaiti family consisting of an elderly father, a mother, and a young daughter. The family resided in the Al-Rahab district. Every morning, an Indian national would come to their home to perform cleaning duties, leaving in the evening and returning the next morning, as was his routine.

One day, the man decided to commit murder with the intent of robbery. He arrived at the house that morning carrying a small bag in which he had placed some clothes to change into once his own became stained with blood. He arrived at the house as usual and rang the doorbell. The father of the family opened the door. The father then went to his room, while the wife was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. The servant went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and stabbed the wife several times. She fell to the floor, drenched in her own blood.

Hearing his wife’s screams, the husband came out to see what had caused the commotion. The criminal attacked him with several knife thrusts, and he collapsed to the ground, drowning in his blood. The young daughter then came out of her room to see what had caused the screaming. The criminal immediately stabbed her several times with the knife, killing her.

The three bodies remained lying inside the house for several days until the smell of decomposition leaked outside, prompting neighbors to call the police. The police arrived immediately and reviewed the footage from the street cameras. They saw the servant enter the house with a bag and exit with it, wearing different clothes from those he had entered in. He had changed his clothes because the ones he wore upon entering were stained with blood, and he had swapped them for clean ones. After changing his clothes, he stole the gold, jewelry, and cash found in the house.

He was ultimately sentenced to death, a just verdict for such a heinous crime against a peaceful family.
