The Commercial Bank Participated in the Second Season of the “Governorate in the Heart of the Capital” Initiative

Kuwait Finance House participated in the national initiative “Preserve in the Heart of the Capital,” which was held over three days at The Avenues Mall, under the patronage and attendance of the Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and with the attendance of Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadi, in collaboration with several other entities, amidst broad community participation from various age groups. The bank’s participation in this initiative underscores its commitment to supporting community initiatives and events that contribute to enhancing public health, encouraging community members to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, and reinforcing the culture of sports and community engagement, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility program.

In this regard, Amal Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at Kuwait Finance House, stated: “We at Kuwait Finance House are proud to participate in the ‘Preserve in the Heart of the Capital’ initiative, which represents an exemplary model of cooperation among various sectors aimed at raising awareness of the importance of sports and health, and encouraging community members to adopt a more active lifestyle.” She added that the initiative’s continuation for a second year reflects its success and positive impact on society, while the strong turnout from diverse age groups demonstrates growing awareness of the importance of physical activity and its role in improving quality of life. She noted that Kuwait Finance House believes corporate social responsibility is an integral part of its role as a national institution, and consistently strives to support initiatives that deliver tangible, positive impacts on society, as well as to strengthen cooperation with Kuwait’s governorates.

The initiative witnessed the participation of a large number of competitors, including youth, children, seniors, and people of determination, in a walking challenge and step-counting activity, amid an enthusiastic atmosphere that reflected the high level of interaction and public interest in the event. The initiative also featured a diverse range of activities, including sports tracks, health awareness workshops, and interactive displays, all aimed at encouraging participants to engage in sports and promote healthy habits.

Amal Al-Wara’ praised the efforts made by all participating entities in organizing the initiative, emphasizing that partnerships and cooperation between government entities and the private sector play a significant role in the success of such initiatives and in achieving their community objectives. She concluded by affirming that Kuwait Finance House will continue to support initiatives focused on health, sports, and enhancing quality of life, driven by its responsibility toward society and its commitment to being an active partner in national initiatives that serve various segments of the community.
