Global Shipments of Humanoid Robots Surge 300%

The global humanoid robot market experienced rapid growth in the first half of 2026, with shipments surging by approximately 300% year-on-year to surpass 22,000 units. Agibot led the global market with 9,900 units shipped, followed by Unitree, then Galbot, UBTECH, and Lego Robotics. Collectively, the top five companies accounted for 86% of total shipments, according to Counterpoint Research data. In terms of applications, entertainment, performances, data production, and research combined to capture more than 60% of shipments, despite a moderate decline in their share. Meanwhile, practical applications continued to expand, with smart manufacturing’s share rising to 13% and storage and logistics reaching 5%, according to CNN. The second half of 2026 is expected to see more pilot projects in the services and industrial sectors transition to large-scale deployment, as leading companies move to develop integrated capabilities that include adopting advanced models, deploying them in specialized applications, building data systems, and accelerating model update processes.
