The Emir receives an invitation from the President of the UAE to the UN Water Conference

His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received a letter today (Tuesday) from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, inviting His Highness to attend the opening ceremony and participate in the “United Nations Water Conference 2026,” hosted by the United Arab Emirates in partnership with the Republic of Senegal, from December 8 to 10 next year. The letter was delivered to His Highness by Dr. Matar Hamed Al-Nuaimi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kuwait. Attending the meeting were Major General (Retired) Jamal Al-Diab, Director of the Amir’s Office, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Mushal, Deputy Secretary of the Amir’s Diwan, and Mazen Al-Eisa, Deputy Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amir’s Diwan.
In a separate development, His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, yesterday received Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber, who presented to His Highness Fawaz Abdullah Bursali, the new head of the Kuwaiti diplomatic mission, as Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria. Sheikh Bursali took the constitutional oath before His Highness on the occasion of assuming his new post.
For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, yesterday received Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber, who presented to His Highness Ambassador Fawaz Abdullah Bursali as Kuwait’s Ambassador to the friendly Republic of Austria, on the occasion of assuming his duties. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan, and senior officials.
