Talal Al-Rashidi wins gold at the Grand Prix of Shooting in Italy

Kuwaiti shooting continues to achieve its successes on the global shooting stage, after Kuwaiti shooter Talal Abdullah Al-Rashidi claimed first place in the trap shooting event at the Grand Prix, organized by the Italian Shooting Federation, with the participation of 740 shooters from various countries.

M. Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federations and head of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the championship, expressed his happiness at this achievement, stating, “Praise be to God. Kuwaiti shooters have proven day by day that they are up to the responsibility, ready and capable of overcoming difficulties and achieving what the people of Kuwait aspire to.”

Al-Otaibi clarified that the Kuwaiti shooting team successfully concluded its participation in the Nando Rossi Grand Prix for clay target shooting held in Italy. This followed a training camp for the team as part of the preparation plan for Kuwaiti shooters’ participation in the upcoming Asian Games to be held in Japan this month, alongside preparations for upcoming international competitions and championships.

Al-Otaibi dedicated this new achievement to the political leadership and the Kuwaiti people, affirming that Kuwaiti shooters will continue to exert their utmost efforts to raise Kuwait’s name and achieve further successes on the international stage.
