Axios: US military launches strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz

The U.S. Central Command announced the start of strikes on targets belonging to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) inside Iran. The command stated that the strikes were in response to recent offensive actions carried out by the IRGC, which targeted navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and U.S. military personnel in the region.
