First Deputy Prime Minister Directs Strengthening the Efficiency of the Security System

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection visit to the General Administration of Criminal Evidence to review operational progress, performance levels, and key technical and technological developments. The Ministry’s General Administration of Security Relations and Media stated in a press release that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef began the visit by listening to a briefing from Major General Abdulrahim Al-Awadi, Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, on the administration’s aspirations and its plans to continue development and enhance performance standards. The statement noted that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef viewed a visual presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice field and its applications in identity verification and forgery detection. He also inspected several departments and laboratories, reviewing their functions, operational procedures, and the technical and specialized services they provide. He concluded the visit by issuing a number of directives aimed at supporting ongoing development and elevating performance standards, thereby enhancing operational efficiency, improving result accuracy, and contributing to the strengthening of the security system. He was received upon his arrival by Major General Fahad Al-Badr, Head of the Criminal Security Affairs Sector, Major General Mishaari Al-Risha, Assistant Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, and several department directors and their deputies.
