Syria: Armed groups in Suwayda target Syrian security forces in the countryside of the governorate

Syrian security forces repelled attacks launched by armed groups in Suwayda against security checkpoints in the countryside of the governorate. The Syrian news channel reported that four members of the Syrian Internal Security Forces were injured while repelling assaults by “outlaw groups” in the western countryside of Suwayda. It added that these groups targeted the village of Al-Mansoura in the southern part of the western countryside of Suwayda with drones, in addition to their attempts to attack security checkpoints in the vicinity of several villages in the Suwayda countryside.
