Netanyahu: Erdogan doesn't like me or Israel at all

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “does not like Israel, nor does he like me personally.” Israeli media quoted Netanyahu as saying, “Erdoğan does not like us, nor does he like me,” adding that Israel continues to operate in an environment he described as difficult, with “tasks that must be completed in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, alongside the emergence of new threats.” Netanyahu’s remarks came in the context of discussing Israeli operations in the region, where he stressed the necessity of continuing efforts to achieve the objectives set by his government. He also addressed Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, considering engagement with these issues as part of the challenges Israel faces. Netanyahu’s comments come amid ongoing tensions in Israel-Turkey relations, against the backdrop of Ankara’s stance on the war in Gaza and Israeli policies in the region.
