Kuwait condemns the incursion by occupation authorities into the Al-Qalandia vocational training center affiliated with UNRWA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation of the occupation authorities’ incursion into the Qalandia Vocational Training Center, affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in occupied East Jerusalem, in a blatant violation of international law. In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry reiterated its call on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to put an end to the Israeli occupation’s violations and hold the perpetrators accountable, emphasizing the importance of providing necessary protection for facilities belonging to international organizations and their staff, enabling them to carry out their mandated humanitarian tasks. The Ministry also reaffirmed Kuwait’s full support for UNRWA, based on its steadfast position supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
