Death of American country music legend Dolly Parton at 80

The family of American country music legend Dolly Parton announced in a statement posted on social media that she died at the age of 80. Her nephew and head of security, Bryan Sevier, confirmed her death in a video posted on Tuesday on Parton’s official social media accounts. In response, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in mourning for Parton.
