250 Kuwaitis Pass “Cooperative Supervisors” Exams

Faisal Matar: Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Development, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, announced that 250 Kuwaiti nationals had passed the employment examinations for the positions of financial and administrative supervisor in the Cooperation Sector, out of 435 candidates who attended the tests held at the American University in Kuwait.

In a press statement announcing the test results, Al-Huwaila said, “The total number of applicants for the two positions reached 728 Kuwaiti nationals, of whom 435 attended the examinations, while 293 did not attend.” She noted that “the offered positions include 30 financial supervisor roles and 60 administrative supervisor roles.”

She added that “the number of applicants for the administrative supervisor position was 484, of whom 295 attended the test and 173 passed, achieving a success rate of 58 percent. Meanwhile, the number of applicants for the financial supervisor position was 244, of whom 140 attended and 77 passed, with a success rate of 55 percent.”

She clarified that the minimum score required to pass the examination is 80 percent, with the test accounting for 90 percent of the final evaluation, while the personal interview before the relevant committee at the ministry constitutes 10 percent of the evaluation.

She noted that the examinations were conducted in cooperation with the American University in Kuwait, under comprehensive administrative and technical organization.
