Council of Ministers: Assigning the implementation of the law regulating the establishment of places of worship to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs... officially

The Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” published in its issue released today, a Cabinet decision regarding the designation of the competent authority and minister responsible for implementing the law regulating the establishment and management of places of worship. The decision stipulates that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs is the competent ministry for implementing the law regulating the establishment and management of places of worship, issued by Law Decree No. 72 of 2026. The decision further designated the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs as the minister responsible for implementing the provisions of the law regulating the establishment and management of places of worship.
