Health Ministry: We responded to a limited electrical fire at an administrative office in Jaber Hospital

The Ministry of Health stated that a limited electrical short circuit occurred yesterday evening, Thursday, in a computer device in one of the administrative offices at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital, away from healthcare service areas, leading to the leakage of smoke odor into some patient wards. It added that the incident was handled and controlled immediately in accordance with approved safety and security procedures, with several patients temporarily relocated as a precautionary measure and returned after confirming the safety of the affected areas. The Ministry noted the presence of Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs and Projects Eng. Ibrahim Al-Naham, and Director of Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital Dr. Nandy Al-Hasan at the site to monitor procedures on the ground and ensure patient safety and operational continuity, with conditions returning to normal within a short period.
