Finance Minister Discusses Common Financial and Economic Issues with His Sudanese Counterpart

Finance Minister Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rafai held talks today, Thursday, with Sudanese Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Jibril Muhammad, discussing a number of financial and economic issues linking the two countries and emphasizing the commitment to future cooperation in several priority areas. The Ministry of Finance stated in a press release that the meeting also explored ways to strengthen the historic fraternal ties between the two brotherly nations and outlined plans to develop these relations in the coming period. It noted that this meeting takes place within the framework of the official visit being made by Sudanese Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Muhammad, as part of a government delegation from the brotherly Republic of Sudan to the State of Kuwait. The meeting was attended by several officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives of the Sudanese Embassy in the country.
