Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Discusses with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff the Development of Military Cooperation

The Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks on Wednesday with the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, to discuss ways to develop joint military cooperation between the two sides. The Kuwaiti Army General Staff Directorate stated in a press release that the meeting took place between Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan and his counterpart, General Caine, at the U.S. Department of Defense building (the Pentagon), as part of his official visit to the United States. The statement added that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations and discussed existing strategic partnerships and ways to strengthen them in the interest of shared objectives. Both sides also addressed efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
