Kuwaiti students compete in the Earth Science Olympiad in Italy

In line with its commitment to supporting students, developing their scientific capabilities, and strengthening their presence at international forums, the Ministry of Education announced the participation of a Kuwaiti student team in the 19th edition of the International Earth Science Olympiad, which will be hosted in the Italian city of Turin from August 20 to 27.
In a statement, the ministry said the Kuwaiti team comprises four students: Talal Al-Mutairi from Tariq bin Ziyad Secondary School, Ghaliya Al-Anzi from Habibah bint Shurayq Secondary School, Narjes Sabti from Layla Al-Ghafiriya Secondary School, and Kawthar Al-Qattan from Bayan Secondary School.
It noted that participation in this international scientific forum is the result of efforts made to support, prepare, and train students to compete in global competitions and olympiads, thereby honing their scientific skills and enhancing their capabilities in earth sciences, while boosting Kuwait’s presence at international scientific events.
The ministry expressed its best wishes for the team members, hoping they achieve success and results befitting Kuwait’s name and raising the national flag high at this global scientific forum.
