UAE: Halt all activities, trade exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran

Afra Al Hamli, Director of the Strategic Communications Department at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that the United Arab Emirates denies all allegations regarding the state of its economic relations with Iran, while reiterating its firm commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and regional integration as essential means to enhance peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. According to a report by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), in light of regional escalation that has undermined regional and international peace and security, all activities, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran have been suspended until further notice. She emphasized that the UAE remains firmly committed to safeguarding the integrity of the international financial system, in accordance with international law and the highest global standards.
