Minister of Social Affairs: Developing mechanisms to protect and stabilize the family

Faisal Matar: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Development, Dr. Amal Al-Huwail, emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to enhance coordination mechanisms and elevate the level of services and programs provided by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, thereby strengthening its role in protecting the family and supporting its stability. This statement was made by Dr. Al-Huwail during a press interview on Monday, as part of her inspection visit to monitor the Council’s operations, review the performance of its various departments following the restructuring of its organizational framework, and meet with leaders and officials to follow up on work plans and enhance institutional capacity. She stressed the importance of adherence to attendance, professional discipline, and the fingerprint attendance system by leaders and staff, underscoring the necessity of accountability and commitment to job responsibilities to improve performance levels and deliver the best services to clients. During the visit, Dr. Al-Huwail thoroughly reviewed the Council’s departmental activities, inspected the operational procedures in shelter centers and the services provided there, as well as the Social and Psychological Counseling Department, emphasizing the need for continuous monitoring and development of these centers to enhance their efficiency and provide a safe and comprehensive environment for beneficiaries.
