First Deputy: Providing an integrated work environment for Ministry of Interior personnel

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif stressed the importance of prioritizing the health of ministry personnel and providing them with a comprehensive working environment. This came during the opening of the medical emergency clinic at the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah building of the Ministry of Interior, as part of cooperation and integration between the Ministries of Interior and Health to enhance the healthcare provided to ministry personnel.

The Interior Ministry stated in a press release that the opening ceremony was attended by the ministry’s Undersecretary, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, and the Minister of Health’s Undersecretary, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, along with several senior officials and leaders from both ministries.

It added that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif toured the clinic’s facilities and departments and listened to a detailed explanation regarding its operational procedures and the medical services provided to military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Interior. He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its continuous cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint work between the two ministries to elevate the standard of healthcare provided to ministry personnel and facilitate their access to emergency medical services.

He noted that caring for the health of ministry personnel and providing a comprehensive working environment are among the top priorities, given their positive impact on enhancing their efficiency and strengthening their performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Sabah said, according to the statement, that the clinic represents an addition to the healthcare service system provided to Ministry of Interior personnel, reaffirming the Ministry of Health’s commitment to facilitating their access to medical care and enhancing the quality of services provided to them.

The new clinic provides healthcare services to military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Interior within the ministry headquarters, contributing to their swift access to services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and competence.
