Iraqi Kurdistan: Drone attack from Iran targets Prime Minister's office

The Counter-Terrorism Service of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced on Monday that the office of the region’s prime minister and the headquarters of the Erbil Security Directorate were targeted by two drone attacks, with no casualties reported. The drones, carrying explosives, originated from Iran. The Counter-Terrorism Service stated in a press release that the attack occurred in the early hours of the day, when two “Hijad-110” model drones were launched from Iranian territory toward the designated targets, emphasizing that the attack resulted in no injuries or loss of life. The Service strongly condemned the attack, describing it as utterly unacceptable, and placed full responsibility for the ensuing repercussions and consequences on the perpetrators.
