Saint-Germain signs World Cup winner Ferran Torres on a contract until 2031

Spanish striker Ferran Torres, crowned 2026 World Cup champion, has joined French club Paris Saint-Germain, the European champions, from Barcelona on a five-year contract running until 2031, the Parisian club announced. The 26-year-old forward, who scored the winning goal for Spain in the final against Argentina at the North American World Cup, and who is capable of playing in multiple attacking positions, joins the two-time reigning European champions in a deal valued at approximately $58 million, according to Spanish and French media.
