Lebanon: 7 killed and 3 wounded in an Israeli occupation strike on a town in the south

The Lebanese National News Agency reported on Saturday that an Israeli occupation strike on a house in the village of Ansar in southern Lebanon killed seven people and injured three, while also noting that shelling targeted the Al-Tahir heights in Nabatieh in the south. This comes amid Israeli artillery bombardment of Lebanese villages in the south and demolitions of homes in various areas. The agency reported that the strike completely destroyed the targeted house, and that Lebanese emergency and civil defense teams continued working to clear rubble, recover bodies, and transport the injured to hospitals. The agency confirmed that occupation forces demolished several homes in Bint Jbeil and in several neighboring villages in southern Lebanon, adding that occupation forces fired heavy machine guns at houses adjacent to the Kounin-Safaa al-Hawa road.
