Supreme Committee: Withdrawal and Loss of Citizenship for 30 Individuals

As the Supreme Committee for Citizenship continued its work, the Official Gazette (Kuwait Today) published, in its Thursday supplement, two decrees and a decision withdrawing or depriving 30 individuals of their Kuwaiti citizenship. The first decree ordered the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from one individual, while the second decree stipulated the revocation of citizenship certificates for five individuals, in accordance with Article 21 bis. The decision, meanwhile, resulted in the loss of Kuwaiti citizenship for 24 individuals, pursuant to Article 11 of the Citizenship Law.
