Al-Hawilli: Availability of 28 wedding halls for booking in 2027 and 2028 via Dar Al-Munasabat and ease
The Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, announced on Thursday the opening of booking for all 28 wedding halls for the years 2027 and 2028, via the “Dar Al-Munasabat” and “Sahl” applications, as part of an integrated operational plan to provide facilities that meet citizens’ needs and achieve the highest safety standards.
Dr. Al-Huwail told KUNA that the ministry has prioritized the maintenance and renovation of wedding halls, in line with its responsibility to safeguard citizens’ safety. She stressed that no hall would be made available for booking until all maintenance and renovation works are completed, technical approvals are obtained, and safety and prevention requirements are fully met, ensuring their complete readiness.
She confirmed that bookings are opened according to a phased schedule that aligns with the halls’ readiness, ensuring their inclusion in the booking system as soon as operational requirements are fulfilled, thereby balancing the expansion of available dates with the preservation of facility quality.
She added that the ministry is simultaneously working to include several multi-purpose halls in its service facilities network in the near future, to meet citizens’ needs across various governorates and enhance the options available to them.
The Ministry of Social Affairs continues development and renovation works in several halls to boost their operational efficiency and increase their capacity to meet rising demand during upcoming seasons. Technical teams continuously monitor maintenance progress and conduct technical assessments before approving any hall’s readiness, paving the way for its inclusion in available schedules, thereby reinforcing quality principles and ensuring the safety of visitors.
Dr. Al-Huwail explained that centralizing bookings through the electronic system allows citizens to view available dates and complete procedures easily and conveniently, in line with the ministry’s strategy to develop digital services.
She reaffirmed the ministry’s continued implementation of its development programs to modernize the halls system, based on a vision focused on entrenching safety standards and enhancing service quality to elevate the level of government services.
