Kazem defeats Saudi veteran Al-Ra'id, while Al-Arouq joins Al-Qadsiah's delegation

Al-Kazma’s first football team secured a victory in their friendly match against Saudi side Al-Raed, which was held in Turkey as part of the Orange squad’s training camp ahead of the new season. Al-Kazma’s four goals came from Nasser Mohammedwah, Shuaib Al-Khalidi, Torlis, and Jara Al-Hilali, in a strong and beneficial encounter for the Kazma club as it prepares for the domestic league season and its participation in the upcoming edition of the Gulf Champions League, having qualified after finishing fourth last season.
Croatian coach Dragan Tadić, manager of the Orange team, fielded most of the players currently at the camp in Izmit, Turkey, to assess their readiness for the season start and identify areas needing improvement. Al-Kazma had previously drawn in its first friendly match of the training camp against Qatari side Al-Waeb.
Oruk Joins Al-Qadsiah’s Training Camp
Nigerian professional Gabriel Oruk has joined Al-Qadsiah’s first football team delegation at its current training camp in Turkey, ahead of the upcoming season. His arrival was delayed due to a late-issued entry visa for Turkey. Al-Qadsiah, under the leadership of national coach Mohammed Ibrahim, aims to ensure its players reach peak fitness before returning to the country and entering the domestic season. Al-Qadsiah will represent Kuwait in the upcoming AFC Challenge League, having previously participated in the last two editions of the Gulf Champions League.
Al-Ahly Ready for East Bengal
Khaled Al-Qabandi, head of Al-Ahly’s delegation in India, confirmed the team’s readiness for its decisive match against Indian side East Bengal in the AFC Champions League 2 qualification playoff, scheduled for next Wednesday at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. Al-Qabandi noted that the two-week training camp held by Al-Ahly in Izmit, Turkey, has yielded positive results, achieving its objectives for the new season, particularly regarding the Asian playoff. He expressed confidence that the players will continue to exert maximum effort in the coming days, maintaining the same intensity shown during the camp. Al-Ahly continues its daily training sessions under Croatian coach Goran Sablić in preparation for the match.
Al-Nassr Begins Cairo Camp
Al-Nassr’s first football team has commenced its training camp in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, ahead of the season start. The team delegation arrived there yesterday evening. Under the leadership of national coach Zahir Al-Adwani, the team is expected to play several friendly matches against progressively stronger opponents during the camp. Al-Nassr concluded its friendly matches in Kuwait with a game against Al-Jahra.
Sambisa Becomes Al-Salmiya’s Fifth Foreign Professional
Al-Salmiya has completed its roster of five foreign professionals ahead of the new season by signing Gabonese international winger David Sambisa, who has joined the team delegation currently holding a training camp in Turkey. With the addition of Sambisa, Al-Salmiya now has five foreign players: Bahraini Abdullah Yousef Hilal, Uzbek Shahzod Azimov, Syrian Mahmoud Al-Aswad, Congolese Trezor, and Gabonese David Sambisa.
