Saudi source to Al Arabiya: Coordination between Houthi and Iraqi militias and Iran to attack the Kingdom

A senior Saudi official source told Al Arabiya channel that reliable intelligence reports indicate coordination between the Houthi group and Iraqi militias, backed by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), to prepare attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The source clarified that the intelligence reports, which he described as “reliable and multiple,” point to joint coordination among the Houthis, Iraqi militias, and the IRGC to carry out attacks against the Kingdom, a development reflecting a serious escalation despite regional efforts to de-escalate tensions. He added that these intelligence findings are shocking, as they come at a time when the Kingdom is continuing its efforts to support de-escalation and promote peaceful solutions, amid positive indicators in the negotiation tracks. The source affirmed that the Kingdom would not tolerate any threat to its security, stressing that it would take all necessary measures to address any aggression, in order to safeguard its security and stability and protect its territory and citizens.
