“Airplane Juniors” Head to the Dream, Closing the Cairo Camp

The Kuwaiti national junior volleyball team delegation departs today for the coveted capital of Manama, Bahrain, concluding a training camp held over the past days in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in preparation for the Second Arab Junior Championship hosted by Bahrain. The tournament, which begins today and runs until the 17th of the month, features six Arab national teams.
The participating teams are Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and Algeria. The competition will be played in a single-round league format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals after the conclusion of the first round, and the semi-final winners progressing to the final to determine the champion.
The "Blue Juniors" began their local preparations in early July through internal training sessions, before embarking on a training camp in Cairo. The camp included four friendly matches to assess player readiness, concluding with a match against the Egyptian national team yesterday, which ended in a 3-1 defeat.
The Kuwaiti junior team will kick off their campaign in the championship against Saudi Arabia the day after tomorrow (Sunday), followed by a match against Egypt the next day. They will then face Bahrain, Jordan, and Algeria in succession, aiming to secure positive results and compete for one of the spots in the semi-finals.
