Interior Ministry in collaboration with Labor Force: 48 violations found in Shuwaikh Industrial inspection campaign

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Security Sector, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower, conducted an inspection campaign in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, resulting in the apprehension of 48 violators. In a press statement on Thursday, the ministry said the campaign involved inspecting and scrutinizing 120 commercial establishments, as part of its ongoing security efforts to crack down on violations of the residency and labor laws. It clarified that the 48 violators comprised nine individuals violating Article 20, one individual violating Articles 20 and 18, 36 individuals violating Article 18, one case of a person against whom an arrest warrant had been issued due to her association with a non-existent company under Article 18, and one individual violating Article 22. The ministry added that the standard legal and administrative procedures were taken against all violators, paving the way for their referral to the competent authorities.
