Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Shooting Club and Police Federation

Kuwait Shooting Club Board of Directors Chairman, Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi, affirmed that signing a cooperation protocol with the Police Sports Federation is a crucial step to support the trajectory of Kuwaiti shooting sports and enhance training and preparation programs for shooters, thereby contributing to supplying the national teams with qualified elements capable of achieving accomplishments. Al-Otaibi stated that the protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in various shooting disciplines by providing facilities and ranges for Ministry of Interior personnel, working to raise the technical level of shooters, and selecting outstanding individuals to join the national teams and represent the State of Kuwait in regional and international championships. He pointed to the success of the previous cooperation experience between the Shooting Club and the National Guard, which began in 2011 and contributed to the joining of several National Guard members to the national teams. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud, for his support of sports activities, and also praised the role of the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, in supporting and finalizing the cooperation protocol. For his part, President of the Police Sports Federation, Brigadier General (Retd.) Bahri Mubarak Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, expressed his appreciation for the Shooting Club’s management efforts in finalizing the protocol, emphasizing that the agreement reflects the directives of the Ministry of Interior leadership aimed at supporting Kuwaiti shooting sports and enhancing its success trajectory. He added that the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed First Olympic Shooting Ranges Complex is among the best shooting complexes worldwide, featuring advanced ranges, modern equipment, and coaches with global expertise, providing a comprehensive training environment that contributes to preparing shooters capable of competing and achieving honorable results.
