Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey: We express our condemnation of the occupation's violations in Gaza

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, in a joint statement, condemned the ongoing violations by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, particularly the targeting of health facilities and medical infrastructure. This came in a joint statement issued by the three countries regarding the continuous violations in Gaza, in their capacity as mediators in the ceasefire agreement. Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey stated that the violations have resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children, and constitute a blatant breach of international law and international humanitarian law. They added that the continuation of these violations, despite the announcement by Hamas and Palestinian factions of their acceptance of the roadmap for Gaza, particularly the clause on disarmament, represents a breach of the agreement and hinders the implementation of its second phase. The three countries stressed the necessity for Tel Aviv to comply with all its obligations under international law and to fully implement its commitments outlined in the ceasefire agreement. They warned that the continuation of violations threatens the de-escalation process, exacerbates the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip, and undermines efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire and sustainable de-escalation that would end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They called on the international community to ensure the full protection of civilians, health facilities, and humanitarian personnel, and to guarantee the continuous and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid and medical supplies into all parts of the Strip. The three countries also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and exert the necessary pressure on Tel Aviv to fulfill its obligations under international law and the ceasefire agreement. They noted that this would help ensure the completion of the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, recalling that the agreement on the roadmap for the second phase was a historic accord. Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey emphasized in the statement the need to prevent any undermining of efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire and ensuring sustainable de-escalation to end the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip.
