Expanding the expertise of Public Prosecution members and consolidating the rule of law
The Public Prosecutor, Advisor Saad Al-Subhan, issued a decision establishing the Prosecutions Administration, which includes the appointment, rotation, and reappointment of several Public Prosecution Directors and their deputies across various circuits and specialized prosecution offices.
A well-informed source told Al-Qabas that the rotation decision is part of a strategy aimed at broadening the experience of Public Prosecution members by providing opportunities to work in different prosecution offices and specializations, thereby enhancing their professional competence and developing their capacity to handle diverse cases. He added that this step embodies an institutional approach that entrenches the values of justice and the rule of law, elevates the quality of judicial performance, serves the public interest, and strengthens trust in the justice system.
The new prosecution appointments, as per the decision, are as follows:
1. Capital Prosecution, Combating Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants, and Capital Market Prosecutions
- Assistant Mohammed Mutlaq Al-Shammari – Director of both prosecutions.
- Turki Faisal Rashid Al-Faq’an – Deputy Director.
- Nasser Badr Saleh Al-Gharib – Deputy Director.
2. Hawalli Prosecution
