Al-Qadsia prepares for the match against Saudi Arabia's Al-Arabi, while Al-Salmiya loses to Zed

The Al-Qadsiah first football team is concluding its preparations for its second friendly match in its current training camp held in the Turkish city of Izmit, after relocating there from Yalova, where the camp initially began. The Yellow team, under the guidance of national coach Mohammed Ibrahim, aims to maximize the benefits of the current training camp, which focuses simultaneously on developing the technical and physical aspects of the players before the start of the new season. The Yellow team anticipates participating in international competitions at the level of the AFC Challenge League, in addition to competing in local tournaments.
Meanwhile, Moroccan player Ayoub Al-Akhdar joined the team’s training sessions a few days ago. The Yellow team is still awaiting the arrival of Nigerian Gabriel Urok, the fourth foreign player for the new season, in addition to Lakhdar, Hamza Khaba, and Abdulrahman Al-Mashifri, before finalizing the identity of the fifth foreign player to close the file on foreign signings.
The match against Saudi club Al-Arabi will be the second for the Qadsawi team in the current camp, following a goalless draw against Saudi side Al-Zulfi in the team’s first friendly match.
A sixth foreign player has arrived for Al-Ahli: Ethiopian player Kinan Maleko arrived in Turkey, joining the first football team’s current training camp at Al-Arabi Club, in preparation for the decisive match against Indian team East Bengal in the playoff for qualification to the 2022 AFC Champions League finals, scheduled for the 12th in India. Al-Ahli now has six foreign players: Palestinian Zaid Qanbar, Nigerian Iyuala, Senegalese Jauhar Khadem Rasoul, Brazilian Lucas Chalon, Brazilian Sheldon, and Ethiopian Kinan Maleko. Al-Ahli will play its fourth friendly match tomorrow against Egyptian club Pyramids as part of the team’s readiness assessment for the crucial match against East Bengal. Thus far, Al-Ahli has played three friendly matches, winning 4-0 against Amad Spor, drawing 1-1 with Van Spor, and losing 1-3 to Erzurumspor.
Al-Salmiya loses first friendly match: The Al-Salmiya first football team lost 3-0 in its first friendly match of its current external training camp held in the Turkish city of Izmit. The defeat came against Egyptian club ZED FC by a score of 3-0. The match served as strong preparation for the Salmiya team against the Egyptian side, which includes many players of outstanding standards and competes in Egypt’s professional league. The Sky Blue team, led by Bahraini coach Ali Ashour, aims to continue preparations and correct the mistakes made by the players in the first match, paving the way for a strong start to the new local season.
Al-Shabab launches camp in Cairo: The Al-Shabab football club team has launched its training camp in preparation for the new season, by holding daily training sessions and playing friendly matches in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where the team delegation arrived yesterday. The technical staff is expected to determine the friendly matches based on the clubs currently training in Egypt, as the team looks forward to maintaining the desired performance level in the upcoming season after its relegation to the First Division Zain League.
