Emiri Decree Appoints Major General Hamad Al-Munifi to the Rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior

Today, Sunday, an emiri decree was issued appointing Major General Hamad Ahmad Sulaiman Al-Munifi to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior. The text of the decree is as follows:

Decree No. (123) of 2026 on the appointment of an Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior

Having reviewed the Constitution,

Having reviewed the Emiri Order issued on 2 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1445 AH, corresponding to 10 May 2024,

Having reviewed Law No. 23 of 1968 concerning the Police Force system, and its amendments,

Having reviewed Legislative Decree No. 15 of 1979 concerning Civil Service, and its amendments,

Having reviewed the Decree issued on 7 Jumuada al-Awwal 1399 AH, corresponding to 4 April 1979, concerning the Civil Service system, and its amendments,

And based on the proposal of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,

And after approval by the Council of Ministers,

We have decreed as follows:

Article One: Major General Hamad Ahmad Sulaiman Al-Munifi is appointed to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior.

Article Two: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior shall execute this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
