The ambassador highlighted the impact of the crisis on Kuwait, the strong and enduring U.S.-Kuwaiti partnership spanning decades, and the nation’s resilience during this challenging period. She discussed the economic costs of the war alongside ongoing opportunities, drawing attention to the recent announcement of a $16 billion pipeline agreement between the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and U.S. companies, marking the largest foreign direct investment in Kuwait’s history.
