Kuwait: Iran’s continued aggression reflects a systematic hostile policy that cannot be justified

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and strongest rejection of the ongoing, culpable Iranian aggression against the country, which today targeted several vital and military facilities with hostile drones. This constitutes a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a grave breach of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817. The Ministry affirmed that the continuation of these brazen attacks represents a serious escalation and reflects a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or tolerated. It reiterated Kuwait’s inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
