The Kuwait Municipality will launch its awareness campaign, “License Your Activity… Take the Right Steps,” tomorrow, Saturday, with the aim of enhancing compliance with municipal regulations, protecting the investments of business owners, and fostering a culture of adherence to laws and directives.
Mohammed Al-Sandan, Director of Public Relations and the official spokesperson for the Municipality, stated in a press statement on Friday that the campaign carries a package of awareness messages directed at business owners across all sectors. He explained that the campaign aims to raise business owners’ awareness of municipal regulations and bylaws, ensuring the sustainability of their operations and the protection of their investments through compliance with regulatory requirements and procedures. Following simple steps helps avoid violations and penalties, which may include fines or the closure of activities.
He noted that the campaign focuses on educating business owners about applicable laws and regulations, informing them of the requirements for conducting business legally, thereby helping them avoid violations and develop their enterprises. The campaign includes specialized awareness messages tailored to the nature of each activity, covering municipal requirements and procedures most relevant to each sector, making it easier for business owners to understand their obligations and meet regulatory requirements.
