Kuwait and Pakistan: Enhancing Cooperation in All Fields and Intensifying Coordination Across Various Spheres

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, met today, Wednesday, with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, during the latter’s official visit to the capital, Islamabad. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed the close historical ties linking the two countries and their friendly peoples. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Kuwaiti-Pakistani cooperation across all fields and intensifying coordination and consultation on various levels, in a manner that contributes to elevating bilateral relations to more advanced levels and serving the shared interests of the two friendly countries. The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region, with Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressing Kuwait’s appreciation for the active diplomatic role played by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in supporting regional security and stability.
