The first team of Al-Arabi Club drew with Turkish side Van Spor 1-1 in a friendly match between the two sides, part of Al-Akhdar’s current training camp in Turkey, in preparation for the upcoming season, which the team will begin with a match against Indian side East Bengal in the AFC Champions League 2 qualifying playoff. Al-Akhdar had lost its first friendly in Turkey to Erzurumspor 3-1, before playing its third exhibition match there yesterday evening against İmdadspor B.
