His Highness the Amir receives a call from the Egyptian President

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received a telephone call today from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The call featured an overview of the close, distinctive fraternal relations between the two countries and their two brotherly peoples. During the conversation, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, and the latest developments on the regional and international fronts were reviewed, particularly concerning the current circumstances facing the region.

President el-Sisi emphasized during the call the Arab Republic of Egypt’s steadfast support for the State of Kuwait and its backing of all measures undertaken to safeguard its security and sovereignty, invoking Almighty God to protect the State of Kuwait and its people from all harm and evil.
