Minister of Social Affairs Discusses Ministry's Needs for Vocational and Technical Specializations with Director of the Applied Studies Institute

The Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Child Welfare, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, held talks today, Sunday, with Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, to discuss the Ministry’s needs regarding vocational and technical specializations and qualified national cadres.

In a press statement, the Ministry said that the meeting discussed the specializations required by the Ministry’s sectors and the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities, in line with work requirements and aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

It was clarified that both sides discussed mechanisms for joint coordination to provide the required specializations and prepare capable cadres to meet the needs of various sectors, thereby serving the public interest and strengthening the efficiency of government work.

The statement quoted Minister Al-Huwail emphasizing the importance of aligning the outcomes of education and training with the labor market needs of entities under the Ministry’s purview, as well as supporting persons with disabilities, in a manner that contributes to attracting qualified personnel and enhancing performance quality and institutional development.
