The occupation agrees to the entry of an international force into the Gaza Strip

An Israeli official said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation’s smaller security cabinet had approved allowing a proposed international force to enter parts of the Gaza Strip not under occupation control, according to Reuters. The proposed international security force is part of the US-backed plan for Gaza, which was presented last October. The ceasefire ended large-scale combat operations, but it failed to stop near-daily Israeli attacks. Currently, most of Gaza’s population, numbering around two million, live in a narrow strip of land, mostly in tents or damaged buildings, facing dire conditions.
