Jaber Al-Sabah leads the Formula 4 qualifying trials

Kuwaiti driver Jaber Al-Adabi Al-Sabah secured first place, topping the qualifying session for the British Formula 4 round and earning the “pole position” for the main race. Under racing regulations, a driver’s starting position in the main event is determined by their time in the qualifying sessions held before the official race. The significance of pole position lies in giving the driver an unobstructed start at the front of the grid, offering greater chances of winning and reducing the risk of accidents, which often occur among drivers starting further back at the beginning of the race. Previously, in April, Jaber Al-Sabah finished second in the rookie drivers’ standings at the championship, which also took place over two days in the United Kingdom, featuring 31 competitors from various countries, including drivers backed by Formula 1 teams.
